In general, if you have a business in California, the business must have workers' compensation insurance.  If a worker gets injured at work, the injured worker can use that insurance to get benefits.

Benefits an injured workers may be entitled to are 1) medical care, 2) temporary disability, 3) permanent disability, and a 4) supplemental job displacement voucher.  Not everyone qualifies for every benefit.  If you have questions about what benefits you may be entitled to, call our office to make an appointment to speak to an attorney about your case.
