In general, if you have a business in California, the business must have workers' compensation insurance.  So if a worker gets injured at work, the injured worker can use that insurance to get benefits.

Benefits an injured workers may be entitled to are medical care, temporary disability, permanent disability, and a supplemental job displacement voucher.
