My dear friends and clients,
The last year was very dark and trying for most of us. But we persevered and we can now see the light at the end of this very long dark tunnel.
My wife and I have been fully vaccinated without any side effects. I encourage all of you to do the same when the vaccine becomes available to you.
Our office remains closed for in-person visit. In the meantime, we have improved our telephone system. A live person will answer most calls between 08:30 AM - 12 Noon; then 01:00 PM - 5:00 PM. If you call outside of these times, you can leave a message with an automatic voice mail system. If you leave a message, please be sure to leave your name, your phone number and a brief message why you are calling. Be specific with your reason for calling.
Example: "my name is _________ and my phone number is ________________. I am calling
because my disability check is one - week late."
All legal proceedings are done by teleconferencing with few exceptions. Some trials are held by video conferencing using the Lifesize platform. You need to download the free Lifesize App to join the video conference. For depositions, it is usually done using Zoom or Webex. Again, you need the Apps to participate.
We observe all Federal and State holidays. Tomorrow is Cesar Chavez Day. Just like any holiday, your calls will not be answered by a live person. But you can leave a message as explained above.
