A vocational evaluation is scheduled for an injured worker to prepare a report that can be used as evidence.  

 

For an injured worker the report can be used to show that the injury prevents a person from returning to work and how it impacts a person's future earning capacity.  The evaluation is done by a vocational expert who determines your current skills and abilities to compete in the open labor market

The evaluator is chosen by us based on his or her expertise and their experience with injured workers
 

The evaluation is very important.  There are different tests that the evaluator does during the evaluation.  A report is prepared and reviewed by the parties.

Sometimes the defense attorney/insurance company will also send the injured worker to their own vocational evaluator to rebut the report.
